I'd Like You to Meet...

Shea Moisture was a great find. It has truly helped me in caring for my natural hair.  Last week I went to Target to pick up a few things, and stopped by the black hair care aisle. Currently I use the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie as a staple for my twist out, so I figured I’d give the conditioner a try.

On a Hunt..

Currently I am on a hunt to find the perfect conditioner. While I was transitioning, I had a mix that worked for both my relaxed and natural hair. However since being natural, this hasn’t been the case. Ideally, I would like a conditioner that meets my requirements without the addition of ingredients.

The List
  1.  Moisturize: I want a conditioner to moisturize my hair, by wash day my hair is somewhat dry
  2. Detangle: I want something that gives my hair slip and increases the elasticity of my hair. I detangle my hair only on wash days and the conditioner makes it a lot easier

Definition of an Idiot

The other day at work, my boss asked me what the definition of an idiot was. I stared at him with a blank and confused expression, hoping I wouldn’t have to report him to HR for calling me an idiot. However, he went on to say, that an idiot is someone who keeps doing the same thing but expects a different outcome.

The more I thought about this, the more I felt this is something we all do in our lives. We complain about our lives, yet never try new things. We adopt a woe is me mindset.
